Hi and welcome to my website.

I'm Jeni, I live in Stalybridge, a town on the edge of the Pennines near Manchester. I have lived here for the past three years, it is a beautiful area.

I have always enjoyed taking photographs, I have a large drawer full of them from my old basic film cameras. In 2007 I decided to buy myself a good quality digital camera and start to learn about photography and how the camera works. That good quality camera has now been replaced with a digital SLR and the majority of the images you will see on here have been taken with it.

I am completely self taught, through experience, the help of many friends in the online photographic community and, for the last nine months, Stalybridge Photographic Club. I am still learning, I believe you can never know everything about photography. At the moment I am pushing my boundaries and working mainly on studio photography. My favourite though has to be landscape photography.

In the area I live I am surrounded by the Pennine Hills. It's a lovely place for walking and photography, and I am also only twenty minutes away from Manchester city centre for a complete contrast.
